The Wabasca LED Sign installation is an example of a commercial project that Moonlight Electric specializes in.
Site Visit
Site visit to scope out the project and meet the client to discuss expectations and a solid overall understanding of the project.
Shop Time
This project required us to make our own custom mounts to fit the new LED sign inbetween the 2 sign supports.
Onsite Fabrication
We repurposed the 3 part static sign as per the customer request to have the Chicken & Pizza static advertisment underneath then new LED. We outfitted the newly made static portion with LED strip lights to replace the old T12 lamps.
Installing the LED & Static
After Fabricating the new static portion we mounted our custom built steel frame and hung the LED panels on both sides. Then we went and attached the static portion to the bottom.
Final Inspections
After getting all the wiring completed, we went over the sign checking to make sure that it was secured and correctly wired.
Testing
Once it got dark we turned the power on and tested the new LED strips in the refabricated static portion. Then with the project complete we notified the LED manufacturer, LightVU, that it was ready to be programmed.
